Input sensitivity jumpers

The miniDSP DDRC-24 can be set for an analog input sensitivity of 2 Vrms or 4 Vrms. The default as shipped is 2 Vrms. The 4 Vrms setting is useful if a source device produces more than 2 Vrms.

The 4 Vrms setting reduces the input sensitivity. Overall system gain is reduced by 6 dB.

Changing the setting requires that the board be removed from the chassis. Remove two screws from the output side and two screws from the input side as shown here:

The board can then be pulled out from the output side. Change the position of the jumpers as shown here:

Warn

Be sure to position the jumpers correctly on the pins. You may need to use a small pair of pliers to do this.

Slide the board back into the chassis and refasten the screws. (If you didn't take note of which screw came from where, the "pointy" screw goes between the input RCA jacks.)
