Trigger output timing¶
The 12V trigger output can be used to power external amplification on and off when the miniDSP Flex HT is powered on, put into standby, and taken out of standby.
The figure below illustrates the timing. On power-up:
- Power is applied to the miniDSP Flex HT.
- After the boot sequence, the Flex HT automatically takes itself out of standby (A) and starts processing audio.
- Two seconds later, the trigger output goes high.
From then on, standby is activated manually by the user with the remote control or front panel. When the user activates standby (B):
- The trigger output goes low immediately.
- Two seconds later, audio output is muted.
When the user deactivates standby (C):
- Audio output is muted immediately.
- Two seconds later, the trigger output goes high.
